six conversion engine mounts
does anyone have any experience with the different kinds of engine mounts: patrick, pelican, rich johnson?

The best one, IMHO, is the bulk head mount made by Rich Johnson.

anyone got a picture and how much is it. What is the level of difficulty in mounting it properly on the bulkhead?

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/9144/por_9144_sixcon_main.htm Not that difficult, but it does have to be welded. It can be bolted in place first, but that isn't very good for the long term. Usually just long enough for you to get the car over to someone who can weld. --DD

Here's a picture of the bulkhead 6 mount from Patrick M/S. He sells it as both bolt-in and weld-in. Major brick outhouse design, very easy to drop the engine with the two bolts (and the tranny mount) (and oh sh- (yeah), the tranny ground strap).

I'm running the Rich Johnson mount with my 3.2. I'm also running factory heat exchangers. You can't run the factory heat exchangers with the crossbar mount.
