Vibration during acceleration

I recently noticed a vibration during acceleration, I know the clutch is toast and needs to replaced and I am wondering if this is a symptom of this. Could it be a CV-joint? I have also noticed a vibration when cornering on the rear driver side of the car. The vibration is not there at other times, only when accelerating, I have checked and the axle shaft looks straight and has had no trauma. Any insight will be helpful.
