What the trick with installing the clutch fork?

I'm trying to get my bell housing back on now after installing my new clutch but I can't figure out how to get this clutch fork in the right spot. I'm guessing if it were new it would hug the release bearing a bit better and not fall off when you put your bell housing on but needless to say I'm re-using the old one with new bearings. Anyone have a trick for this?

I just did the clutch on my 951. Put the cover on with the fork pin is loosely/ half way in, remove the pin while holding the fork You should be able to feel when the fork and the release bearing mate then slide the fork pin back in.
