O2 sensor check 85- 944

Does anybody know how to check an single wire o2 sensor? mine reads open when cold.?? runs rough when cold also.

Put a volt meter on the wire from the sensor, it should read around 450 MV or .4 - .6 volts
And should vary as you accelerate.

Thanks for the info, I ordered a new one.
It would read -.5 to .1 and jump around when pulling on the wire.Next problem is the cold start circuit, but I will see what this does after I get the throttle body adj. back somewhere in the ballpark.
