Mini-Coolant hose question....

There is this one small hose that runs just under/beside the distributer on my 944S. It's about 3-4 inches long.

I have a coolant leak I thought was the lower rad hose, but under closer inspection, I can see some green fluid on the bottom left corner of the distributer housing. It is dripping (slowly, mind you) down and pooling on what looks like a plug right next to the alternator. I have been getting the odd "hummm" or "groan" from what seemed like the waterpump area - but my temp is ok and the waterpump is new, so I'm guessing the coolant is somehow making the alternator (or belt/roller) make that noise.

Where could coolant leak from that it would appear on the distributer? Could this lil' hose be the culprit? Doesn't seem like a headgasket thing (it's new also). The hose is a little bit buldged and is wet. It looks like a pretty simple straight hose that I can make if I need one, so I'm going to replace it.......but I thought I'd check to see if the leak could be coming from somewhere else first, thus this post.

Just was out looking around again and I can see that this lil' hose is the one coming off the waterpump. It then goes around the back of the engine.

My waterpump also has one of those block plates. It's a Turbo waterpump. Is it possible this could be leaking? I can't pinpoint the leak because there is coolant sort of all around this area.

That little hose feeds hot coolant from the back of the engone back into the waterpump (it is the heater return hose) A leak from it can look frighteningly like a waterpump leak

The metal pipe is prone to corrosion, resulting in a leak - wait for the engine to cool, depressurize the system and check the hose - you may need to remove it and clean the area up.

Yep, it is a little hose, just a little difficult to swap out neatly with coolant in the system

Refill, bleed.
