When Should Boost Be Max

At what rpm should the boost start to come up and by what rpm should it reach maximum value?

Mine gets above 1 bar at around 2300 rpm but will not peg to 2 bars until around 2900 rpm. Is this what I should be getting? I've had some people tell me the boost is a little slow to build on my car.

I have a k27 turbo with MAF.

Your car hits boost exactly like mine. I have a 3 angle valve job, Weltmeister chips with banjo bolt and a hollowed cat with stock 951S Turbo. Everybody says mine builds boost fast.. My old mans car (until he wrecked it last month) built boost a little later, he had the autothority stage 2 chips on an otherwise stock 951S.

I must know....how did he wreck it?

He drove it up on top of a rock at about 25 mph.

Unfortunatley he took out the oil cooler, the power steering cooler, destroyed the right side control arm took a chunck out of the lower suspension crossmember, pushed up the wheelhouse, moved the passenger side nose 1" to the outside, punched a big dent in the floor (where the rock lended up), wiped out all the fuel lines and the rear brake line, anyway both fenders, the whole nose, the hood are all wrecked, and the chassis is tweaked in like four different directions. The poor car only had 34,000 miles on it. Its an 88' Turbo S Silver rose with all original interior and everything.

Lucky me now I have a parts car for my beat up 88' silver rose limited edition.
