Front and rear jacking points.
Clutch and sundries arrived today (thanks for your usual quick shipping Pelican) so tomorrow I'll be putting the car up in the air to start my clutch job. A couple of questions:
What is the accepted method to put the car up on jackstands? Do you put the stands on left-side then right-side or front then back? If front then back, where is the point to jack up the front of the car and where is the point to jack up the rear of the car? Thanks a lot folks. ![]() Aaron

I do one side at a time, using the mid point to jack it up. I don't know if this is the official method, but I've accepted it with open armsf. The car is so nicely balanced that can get a jackstand at aboth ends tall enough for my fat body, it should be good enough for your narrow arse. If yoiu're conserned with a small amount of jackport bendage, either take out the pin that holds the pad on the jack, or order a jack lug from pelican. they fit right in there.
