Just wanted to give a shout out to Only944 for the excellent leather shifter covers they make. I was tired of my car getting just as much heat from the tunnel as from the heater. Looks great now and easy. Other than I am hoping the wires I nicked under the carpet I trimmed to make installing the covers possible without removing the entire console were the fuel pump wires.

I just installed mine too. Took some fussing to tuck in at the shift knob but once you patiently tuck it all in, little by little it turns out very nice. Love it! I would do it again any time now that I've done it once. And got rid of my original tattered leather. It looks so much better.

I agree. Initially I though it was going to be a *****. But it went really well and now I won't overheat the interior with all the hot air that was coming through.
