924 gets blown up on Unsolved Mysteries

I was flipping through TV channels last night and started watching an old ephisode of Unsolved Mysteries, probably from the mid-90's. it was on Lifetime, the women's network. Go figure. Anyway, they had a story about a person named Richard Valley, who planted a bomb in a guy's Porsche and rigged it to the ignition. So the guy was blown to pieces when he got in and turned on the car. In the re-enactment, a white 924 gets blown up. The car actually looked to be in very good condition, before the explosion. This same punk responsible for killing the 924 driver is also wanted in connection with 12 other killings. He was allegedly a member of a motorcycle gang. There was no 'update' portion at the end of this segment, so I'm guessing that this guy is still on the loose. The show speculated that he might have relocated to a country which does not have an extradition treaty with the USA.

PS- RIP Robert Stack. He was the host of Unsolved Mysteries. Found dead at his home in LA yestarday, apparently of a heart attack. He was a car guy also. I remember reading an interview with him in one of the major car magazines about 5-6 years ago. He talked about the cars he drove and worked on when he was a young actor.
