944 wide body build

I got the wide body is done and into primer and finished the cage and got that into paint.
the mold for the carbon fiber roof is just about done so I should be pulling the 1st roof panel off it by the end of the week?
because I did tilton dual masters swing downs for the brakes I had to do a single center mounted wiper . I went with a 1976 scirocco this gave me a full sweep of the window and is simple wiring as the 944 wiper switch is also VW.

Amazing work, Im guessing you had to chop the top to complete the roll cage and then weld back on?

no I didn't there is room to get the head of the welder up to weld the tops of the tubes but I did remove the sunroof panel.
I will be removing the roof skin to install the carbon fiber roof panel I'm in the middle of making for the car.

I also dropped the seat down another inch for more head room and with the sunroof getting removed for a carbon fiber roof it will add another inch plus to head room.

V8 yes she is getting a LS3 the install kit just showed up yesterday for it so I will start doing the mockup next week.
this will be one of the easier LS swaps I have done into a 944 having no AC no heater core

I still need to get a radiator not to sure on what one I'm getting yet.
because of the one piece FG nose I removed the upper and lower radiator supports and the front crossmember. once I figure out what radiator I'm using and where I'm placing it I will build new upper and lower radiator supports.

I made the new front crossmember already using 1.5" 120 wall tubing and then made and mounted the front tow hook to it.

the tilton dual master and clutch Assembly are all done so now I have to make the bracket for the gas peddle.
I'm not doing auto blip so I will have to set the gas peddle so I can do the rev matching with my foot.

no I haven't done a Bugeye in about 7 or 8 months now after doing 17 of them one right after another I got tired of them.
we bought a few of the Rush SR race cars to rent out for track days. so right now I'm trying to clean out customer jobs to make room in the shop for the Rush cars.
once we get the 1st cars delivered ( in a few weeks we hope ) I have to pull the bodies off them and get them painted.
