What's missing here - if anything?

This is for my '88 924S. I never really noticed this before, but I did just have a major service performed on the car so I'm wondering if maybe the mechanic forgot something. Should a hose or something else be attached here?

There will be a block off plate underneath that piece - allowing recent 944 water pumps to be used with both turbo and NA models. In other words, most - if not all, of the new 944 water pumps come like this. In short...you're good to go!
