Does anyone know what this part is and how to fix the leak?

I have a 1985 Porsche 944 and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this part is and how to stop the very small leak. It is in the rear of the car right next to the exhaust pipe, the leak is very small and is just dripping on the outer lip. Does anyone know how to fix it or what the part is that is leaking? Thank you.

Could be the A/T pan gasket. I'd clean the area (the pan. anything that connects to the A/T) and inspect later to see where the leak "originates".
If the leak is because of seals/gaskets, you can use AT-205 Reseal to help to stop the leak. This chemical swells the "rubber" seals/gaskets, but is a temporary fix.

Gently tighten the pan bolts first when warm.
