Help!!
I am about at the end of my rope......I have literally tried everything to make this demon possessed 1984 944 of mine idle when cold. I thought for sure it was the auxiliary air valve, so I replaced it, and it still will not idle when cold. I went through all the resistance checks, etc. from the service manuals, all check ok. Once the engine warms up, it idles ok..although fast, since everything else is tweeked. Can ANYBODY give me any suggestions? Also, when temperature is , say, 75 degrees, how far open should the auxiliary air shutter be open? |

describe tweeked. remember, the idle will potentially change based on what mods you have made to the car and will need to be readjusted to compensate for those mods accordingly.

Temp sender. The one closest to the front of the engine. This is the one that goes to the DME. The other one behind it goes to the gauge and warning light.
