How about a Temecula Wine Run this fall?

Can use the wife's parent's place to bbq at Saturday night.

I've got dibs on the extra beds!

The local casino has rooms a plenty. Also nice shinny things with spinning symbols to take your nickles and quarters!

September???

Wine? The sooner the better. Rooms at the Casino would be ideal...

What part of the month are you considering? Maybe a donut fun run prior to the Temecula run would be apropos?

make sure you guys nail down a specific weekend as soon as possible so I can make plans as I'll have about a 1000mi drive just to get there.

Will work on the week end. Right now I'm thinking later in September but we will see what activities the Temecula community have planned.

Best to go on an "off" weekend or it's swamped!

sounds like a good choice of time (Sept), just before getting back to the daily grind. I might even talk a good friend of mine into going as well

Hugh,

Looks like you got 2 of us on board, maybe Todwic will come down and join us that weekend. Let me know if I can help...

Looks like there is room to park about eight maybe ten cars at the in laws. This would be in the grass horse training corral.

I'll contact a family friend that works in security at the casino and get a good reference for rooms.

Thinking of a Saturday wine tour so most would want to be there Friday night or early Saturday then spend Saturday night with a Sunday breakfast run before returning home.

Looking at a few web sites for Temecula.

Wine Tasting

Gaming - Casinos

If you like new casinos this is the one:

Pechanga

If not then there are the "regular" places:

Temecula Hotels

Good Observation, You are correct, I just thought that changing the verb to drink would be more appropriate for the circumstances...
