I Need Some Help

Alright what (and list all possibilities) would make my car not turnover after replacing the clutch. keep in mind the sensors on the flywheel are correctly in at .8 mm and the O2 sensor is hooked up.
She will crank until your hearts desire but wont start up. i can hear the fuel pump running, even though that shouldnt be a prob because i didnt touch it.
computer possible? DME relay went?
please please i need this car running

Do you have:

A spark?
Fuel to the injectors?
Functional timing belt?

_ Try spraying the air filter with ether to see if you have spark (or smelling the exhaust). It should fire a few times and then die if you have spark.

_ If you have a fuel distributor (I assume S's have these), carefully partly unscrew each of the fuel lines (you will have atomized gas everywhere otherwise). This will at least verify that you have gas to the injectors. You could also take out the injectors themselves to see if they have gas coming out, but I do not know how to do this with a 924S

_ Also, you could tell us what you did 'touch' to see if that helps.

_ Good Luck!

Lightbulb

Swap the speed and reference sensors.

During my first clutch job I got the sensors crossed up and nearly freaked when the engine would not start.

Good luck

Make sure your ground wire (at the bell housing) is making solid connection and is tight.

"Will not turn over" means the starter WILL NOT crank the engine.

"Not start" means the starter WILL crank the engine but it WILL NOT fire up -- run.

Speed and refferance sensors are not set the right clearence of 0.8 mm or are not connected to the DME properly.

Or the speed and referance sensors could nave been damaged in the remove and reinstall process.

Remotely:
The 10 gauge wiring to the starter and to the positive side of the battery is not tight.
