Post computer chips

Can anyone tell me what the best chips are for a 1987 944 turbo? Autothority or Weltmeister? Also, where is the best place to buy factory phone dials with 52.3 mm offset with a good finish for 1987 944 turbo?

Which chip you want depends on what you want it to do. The Weltmeister chips make a little more max power, but the Autothority chips are a little smoother at moderate throttle levels. If your car is a daily driver and you just want a little more power, then go with the Autothority chips since they get you better drivability. I've heard that the Autothority chips tend to run lean, so you should stay away from them if you plan to make more serious modifications.

the combo of weltmeister chips & lindsey racing boost enhancer works very well for me.

I have a set of phone dials i'm looking to unload. they're nearly perfect. I'll have to check on the offset though. They came off of an '88 NA If you want more info, email me at firnhaber@juno.com

The 944na phone dials are 15" so they won't fit a Turbo. Try Wheel Enhancement ( http://www.wheelenhancement.com )
