Earth "Block" above fuse box
Hello everyone.
Could anyone tell me if there is any truth in this.... I've still got electrical problems with the car not starting and the wipers coming on when the main beam does etc..too many to list, i'm just trying to save up some cash now so someone with 100% more technical knowledge than me can have a look at it but...That little cluster of earth's above the fuse box, someone told me that if the wipers were on the same earth as the lights then this would cause that particular problem.. anyone agree?

not knowing how the '24s are wired makes it difficult to say but one way to check is to separate the wipers from the light earths (if it's not too cumbersome) and see if that makes a difference. a schematic would be helpful right about now.
Hugh??

Same basic wiring as the early 944's.
The ground cluster above the fuse and relay bock (I imagine this is on the right side verses our left side -- or maybe not) are critical to many of the dash and instruments. However from what you are describing I'm more inclined to look at the steering column wiring and switches. Are the turn signal and head light arm base assemblies loose?
