Post Universal O2 sensor on a Cali. 944 NA

Ok i was wondering if there is any major difference between the 3-wire universal oxy. sensor i bought (Bosch manufactured part) and the original 3-wire that was meant for the 944. Smog day is tomorrow, timing is gonna be retarded back to normal, airbox back on, DME dial turned back to 1. Lets hope I pass. But I just wanna know if there are gonna be any problems with using a universal O2 sensor...someone get back to me on this one thanks..

I am running a Bosch universal 3-wire and had no problem with a recent smog inspection here in CA

ok thats real good to know! I had the option of also purchasing an O2 sensor from Huntley Racing that is 3 wire as well as connects to a visual air/fuel ratio meter that has lights on it. Guess that will have to come later.
