Mirror Selector Switch Wire Connections
Hello All,
I just finished replacing the console in my '83 944, and the only thing I forgot was the wire locations for the mirror selector switch. There are three wires, a black, a green, and a blue. One side of the switch has two connectors, the other has one. Anyone remember where the wires go? I can't seem to find the mirrors on the wiring diagram in either the Haynes or the factory manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, 924 consoles will work in 944's with minor modifications. Thanks, E. C. Jones |

I couldn't figure out why there wasn't any electrical diagram for the mirrors in the Haynes or in the FWSM. Only with the 85.5 models did Porsche include the mirror electrics with the schematics. Problem is the later model mirrors are different than the early mirrors.
That said I'll have to check the switch in my 83 and report back.
