I think you mean 968 CS as in ClubSport. The 968 ClubSport is a rare version of the 968 that was stripped down for lightness and with a tuned suspension and braking system. It was available in Europe only. The 968S, or 968 Sport, is somewhere between your run-of-the-mill 968 Coupe and 968 ClubSport. It is a tad lighter, has the tuned suspension, but isn't quite the track star of the 968CS.

The 968 Sport wasn't specifically available in the US either though a Coupe with M030 option suspension is as close as damit.
Now there was the ultra rare 968 Turbo S and 968 Turbo RS. More info... 968 Turbo S : http://vista.pca.org/stl/968t.htm 968 Turbo RS : http://www.968turbo.homestead.com/ Karl. PS - There's one mistake on the http://vista.pca.org/stl/968t.htm page. The compression ratio of the 968 Turbo S was 8.0:1, not 7.5:1 as posted on the page.

um i think there are only like 6 turbo Ss in the entire world, and they are worth more than any of us can afford to spend on a car

Only 14 turbo Ss and 4 turbo RSs were built. Porsche didn't build a 'regular' turbo model as it would have been too close to the 911 turbo of the time.
If your pockets are deep enough, you can of course turbocharge or supercharge a regular 968 ![]() Check this link for pics of an RS: http://65.61.16.109/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5615

you are wasting thread space by replying... isn't this forum about porsches?
because last time i checked, that's what i was asking about... i didn't know some questions were worth more than others... i do hope to get a 968 after my 944. is it wrong of me to ask questions now or later? either way, i'll be asking them eventually. does it take much to put a turbo on a 968?

924S Clubsport? There are plenty of 924S without power options and some with "sport" suspension too. Is that what you mean?

Never heard of a 924S Clubsport.
I know there was a 944 Clubsport, as well as a 944 Turbo Cup. I don't recall the specific differences between the S and the RS other than they made fewer than 10 RS (think they made 6) Short answer, the S is priced somewhere around $75,000 USD, have not seen an RS other than in the museum in Stuttgart. 944 ClubSport? Never heard of it.
The closest thing I can think of is the 944 'sport' option that gave the car factory KONI yellows (like on mine).

In the UK, a 924S spec'd like that is called a poverty model.........
Sounds like someone specially ordered it, which all the better for you. I'm very suprised about the lack of passenger mirror as I thought that was mandatory.

Rare? I don't know about that, I read Porsche made more 968CS models than regular models!
