How many pounds does A/C take?

Does anyone know what is the max pounds a 86 944na a/c take? Is 2 lbs too much? I bypass a bad pressure relief valve.

My sticker says 33oz, so R12 comes in 12oz cans so figure 2 3/4 cans for full charge. Less maybe a 1/2 for oil. You just need to hook up the high side gauge and the low side guage and watch for the pressure to equal out, mine was about 90psi high and low.
