Post proper way to change coolant?

Probally a stupid question, but whats the right way to change the coolant. I think you just take the coolant cap off and drain then when you put the new stuff in you loosen the little bolt on the housing where the upper rad. hose hooks up and fill w/ the car running, right, let me know I'm doing this sunday.Do you let the car run while filling or off?

I haven't done this yet, But from what I've read: You fill the radiator with the car off, then you take out that screw, turn on car start filling it again until fluid comes out the screw hole, tighten screw, fill reservoir to full line. Make sure your antifreeze is for an aluminum Block.

Let me know how it turns out I'll be doing mine in about 2-3 weeks,
Steve
