how about a mitsubishi 3000gt? i need to check specs,but look is awseome to me,and maybe itīs not very expensive.

heavy as heck though. in excess of 4000lbs for the VR4 if I remember correctly. that's the only one I would consider buying as I don't like front wheel drive

4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steering hence vr4
it's a boat I had a subaru svx with awd and 260 hp bone stock but it was too much of a boat and handled like a luxury car |

how about getting an MR2 spyder, you can get a 3S-GTE engine from japan for probably around a grand or 2. now that would be the ultimate sleeper. my dad used to have a 2000 MR-S and it was so much fun to drive up in the mountains, it wasn't that fast, but it was quick.
edit: it has been done in japan, i think the toyota company has and races a MR-S with the 3S-GTE turbo engine in the back.
