Should we try to get a group buy for the parts? Can someone post a parts list we'll need?

Thanks.

Count me in!

I live in Boston now! Let me know where I'm going, I'd love to see how this is done! Also would be a good opportunity to meet the locals. My car's belts were just done in July, but I really want to see it done.

Pretty easy to get here...I-95 Exit 34 coming south or 33 coming north. Or exit 52 off the Meritt Tpke (Route 15). Coming from Boston..Mass Pike West (Rt90) to 84 to 91 south to 15 south (i'm pretty sure).

This is really coming together... If I can still make it I'll bring along my sony trv350 digital 8 camcorder and we can shoot some DVD quality or MPEG for posting on the web. I just hope everything works out so that my wife and I can come down. We're prep-ing some land for a building project... yada yada yada - lots of time constraints and busy stuff these days.

CT944... is there a more, um, 'creative' way to get to stratford than I91? I am talking non- interstate highways

Not trying to be difficult... i just HATE driving on I-91 and 84.

You could take Route 8 down from Waterbury or 15 (the Merritt Parkway) which peels off of 91 at Middletown. The Merritt is a nice drive, might see some wild turkeys, but watch out for deer just the same.

I think we both are I came up with the idea, but CT has the final word because it's his house. Besides, I think it's just organizing itself.

Well I already got the 15th off from work, so it'd better be that day

By the way, I got the car partially running (some days it runs, others it doesn't). I believe it's the DME as sometimes it starts others it wont! Either way, this is good! I'm sure between us on the 15th, we'll figure it out.

Will someone definately be bringing the special timing belt tool? Or do we need one?

Just one question....who is going to be performing the surgery? And dj, leave your brass knuckles and spare human body parts in Brooklyn!

i was hoping to watch an operation of it, then try it myself.

i'll give anyone a hand while i am there and would love to borrow mike's alignment tool to properly perform the change

we're still newlyweds and i could really use some help evaluating the overall condition of my car

i'm assuming ct will be posting his address? maybe pm if you feel more comfortable that way
