				O2 Sensor question

I got a new oyxgen sensor from Autozone. It was the 45 dollar one with the p/n 13953. I have to use the original wire harness and wires. Do i just splice them together and put heat shrink over it? Is there a special way i have to do this so i dont screw it up?

#2. No. Straighforward. I love shrinkwrap. Make certain you solder the old pigtail and the new together. Do not be surprised if the connector on the firewall disintegrates. The plastic that is made out of appears to be very brittle over time.

FR...Why not solder? I had an emissions problem a year ago. Bought the selfsame item from the self same chain. Soldered the thing and sure enough, passed. Was I just lucky?
