				first start low idle

whenever i first start up my car, the idles bounces back and forth from about 500 - 800 RPM. It feels like it will almost die...then jump up. But about a minute later, it will idle at about 1000 RPM just perfect. Any ideas? Thanks!

Air Flow Sensor. The double contact wiper on the resistor board has worn away the carbon. You can lower the wiper assembly and move the contacts to a "fresh" area of the resistor carbon.

i just got the car back from the porsche shop...the reason the the car wasn't even running right was because of the air flow meter! so they replaced it with a good but used one. Is the air flow sensor inside the air flow meter box? do you still think it may be that?
