1) What's it's 0 to 60 time?
2) Can I turbo it for more power? 3) How often do the belts need to be changed and is there a special belt tensioning tool I'd need? (I just thought I'd spare someone else the problem of asking these questions - LOL!)

If you used a plasma electric generator and recover the latent heat as steam for another electric generation stage you could get 80% efficiency. With less moving parts.

Sorry guys no turbocharging cause it already has it.
And thats a good question how they get it to the ship. A better on is how they get it into the ship or do they build the ship around the engine.

They build it as they build the ship. Can't do naws cuz it's diesel, but you could do propane injection... although the amount of propane needed is crazy. I wasn't aware you could do a 2-stroke diesel. Why would they do a 2 stroke on that large of an engine, I thought a 4-stroke was more effecient, and that seems like a place where effeciency is key.

Work with engines this big alot. Saw a REALLY big engine on a container ship. 12 cylinder, 900mm bore, 3800mm stroke, and a huge 100,000bhp! Nightmare for the guys onboard as work comes up every port on them, no relaxing!
86' 944, trying to find cheap solution to corroded fuel line....
