Ok, within the last couple of days, my AC went out. when I turn it on, I can hear/feel the AC clutch engage, but the air does not get any cooler.
Question is: Where does the AC typically fail? - components or hoses? Or is this just a case of what the owners manual says - which while I can't quote exactly, but the jist is, the AC system tends to leak and you are going to have to get it recharged.. Thanks AFJuvat |

Dude...Im having the same damn problem and I cant find the fix. Someone told me on these boards that it is probably the "blender door." Now if I only knew where that was located!!!! I know my AC is pumping out cold air.....it's just not coming through the vents. But with fall almost upon us I'll probably wait until next spring to deal with it.

Well, I broke down and took it to a shop today.
Seems I ran out of Freon and my evaporator has a small (read really small) leak. so I recharged it ($2.2 lbs @$65.00 per pound and it runs great |
