I have a leak on the passengers side, where the feet are. I know it is from rust holes under the battery. Correct? Well, I sealed them up with some black silicone, but there is still a leak. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Yes you are correct. Water on the passenger floor board usually means a rotted away battery pan. Mine was the same way. I took it in and had it professionally repaired. No more leaks. Although you think you might have sealed that bastard up tight, you might have left some small holes. My suggestion, take it to someone who can do it right and provide you with a guarantee.

I had it done by Car Care Specialty in Lincoln City, OR. They charged me around $60.00. That included the labor, silicone, sealant and new battery tray. I have heard of people spending upwards of $1000 to have the battery compartment fixed. Yikes!

Yo Stray, I'm also from lancaster county. I live in Mount Joy. It's on the western side of the county. I have an 86' 944 NA. You should stop by and help my fix the crazy thing.

That is water coming from your a/C evaporator. There is a pan up in there and alge and crude plugs it up and it can't flow out the tube under the car and it comes down near the glove compartment and to the passenger side floor. If it is not that and coming from rain around your fender near your battery there are drains going out your fender that are stopped up. Look to the fender side of your battery and clean the leaves out and flush it with a water hose, should come out below your fender. This usually hapeens to both sides so the A/C is usually the prob when in the passengers floor.

It's white. The 9 has been in my garage for about 2 months while I have been trying to fix it. I have coolant in the oil and fuel problems. Almost done, but results aren't looking good. Possible cracked block.

I graduated from Donegal last year. I'll be going back to E-town college on the 23 of August. Not really my choice, but I got a huge scholarship. I'm not going to complain. The engine is a bummer. I changed the head gasket and oil cooler seals. Nothing seems to have worked. Other problem is that gas isn't getting to engine. Whether it is fuel pump, DME, or relay, I don't know.
