Indicator/wiper unit
Hiya,
About a year or 2 ago i bought me a brand new indicator/wiper unit at my local porsche dealer ($$$). The indicator didn't return on the old one, the pin was broken. So, yesterday i noticed that the wipercontrol is not 100% anymore. When i want it to wipe once, moving the lever slightly up, you should feel little resistance on the lever and the wipers would wipe and the lever would fall back into it's off position. At the moment, there is no resistance at all, but the wipers do wipe once. Problem is, the lever stays in the 'wipe once' position and is not falling back. Pretty annoying, as the unit cost me about 150 euro. Is there a way to open the unit? I'm afraid i threw away my old one, so i can't really experiment on that one. Thanks! |

Mines starting to stick too. I think a couple of blasts from some spray lube like silicon should clear it up. Have to pull the steering wheel and maybe the covers.
