Post locating 02 sensor wires

hi 944 buddies, i need some help locating the 02 sensoer wires. i have a 1986 944 turbo. the engine is not original with the car. car was bought withoutan engine and then had a rebuild one put in. so i wanted to put in a air/fuel mixture gauge and i ran into a problem of locating the sensor but the wires were cut. just need a starting point where i can locate the wires from the computer harness so i can reconnect my o2 sensor and my gauge. thank you in advance

The coupler is supposed to be attached to a mounting bracket on the aft side of the intake manifold. (looks like a barrel connector) You should see the reference sensor connectors there as well. If it was cut farther back you could have to start from inside the car at the DME and re-wire forward. You should be able to find a bundle of wires three to be exact. Two white and one larger fat black signal wire.
