Actually they did make 6 cylinder 944s. The 8 cylinder 944s are the rarest though.

To be qualified to sell an 8 cylinder 944, the Porsche used car salesman has to be a complete rip-off artist with no prior experience selling Porsches.

Prefereably the salesman should be experienced in selling numbers matching vettes where the only numbers that match are the saleman's IQ and the mpg of the vette.

Also, don't forget that 8 cylinder 944s can only be sold on Ebay to ignorant, first time E-buyers.

I believe that the requirements for selling a 6 cylinder are easier to meet - but check with your ebay salesman.

If it was me, Id keep looking for the 8 cylinder version. Buying the more available 6 cylinder version off Ebay and dealing with an Ebay used car dealer just wouldn't be a big enough thorn to pick out of my ass. Id need the real pain and dissapointment that only an 8-cylinder 944 e-seller could inflict.

Hey, if I go for a v8 car, should I get one with an automatic. You know, so I can handle the extra speed and power. Do I need an extra wing or anything.

Make sure and get the automatic. But get the 3-spd version as it goes a lot faster. You will also need a big wing to keep the rear planted at above 5 mph.

Definitly get the carbon-fiber interior trim. It will save you -.2 lbs. You will need it for escaping the police and picking up babes.

When you paint the brakes, try and get as much of the surrounding area of the car as possible, making sure to get the rotors in order to cut down on friction.

i feel i should speak up about shauns spoiler, its a factory spoiler for the 951/968 used after the 1990 model year.(Original Porsche 924/944/968 pg.77 by Peter Morgan). i've seen it called rice, whatever, porsche liked it and found it functional. just my .02.

Jseel,
Sorry, but the spoiler on Shaun's car is nothing like the factory >90 spoiler for the 944 and 968. It still looks OK in my book, but it isn't original.

Wolf? should i tell them about the numerous hugs that you and your Law FIRM friend exchanged when we met up.. queer looking wolf comes up in his sweats and shet. asking everyone for a helmet. "wheew man, your car is so clean. its cute"

wolf, stay cute man.
