Power Steering Rack Seal

Searched this forum and did not find a specific answer so am posting these questions.
1. I have seen exploded parts diagrams for the 944 power steering rack, but with no part number details. Can I find these drawings/catalogs anywhere?
2. Is it possible to buy only a single seal for the rack instead of the whole rebuild kit? For example just the top collar is leaking. How to find part number for that seal and where to source it.
If I could just do that one seal (instead of the whole kit) and stay on the road for the summer instead of taking the car down and replacing/rebuilding the rack, I would love it. Thanks in advance!

The parts catalog is on the <Porsche website> and power steering section is on page 163 (see below). Porsche do not sell the reseal kits so those are made up by the aftermarket and afaik individual seals are not available. However if one seal is bad it is likely that others are too, so it’s bad practice to simply replace one. Maybe you can use some internal or external sealant to patch things up until you can do a full reseal, I’ve done that with the rear balance shaft seal before.

Thank you for the reply!
I have a spare rack that I have just reworked with the kit from Pelican. I can swap it out later and rebuild the one I remove. I know that replacing the one seal is probably not the "correct" version of the answer, but, if it bought me the summer without leaking, I am fine with that and can swap racks in the winter. Alaska summer is precious, and a 944 out of commission is just plain bad.
I have that catalog breakdown. Looking for the breakdown of the rack.

Quick Seal Fix

Apply a couple of drops of brake fluid onto the seal. If the seal is still intact, the brake fluid will make it swell, possibly sealing the leak for a time.

Ah ok, unfortunately I don’t think there is one as the kits are made up by various aftermarket vendors and not Porsche. The sponsor of this forum sells one by Rennbay, you might try calling them and seeing if they will just supply the seal you need rather than a full kit. Oh and here’s a good write-up which may help you visualize all the individual seals.
