Trade for a '70 911T?

Anybody interested in a 70 911T to trade for a 944 S2 or 951? It's a great driver with a little rust, none structural, it's actually my daily driver at the moment. I bought it to drive for a while and eventually totally restore, but financial situation and a new baby make that now impossible, so I'd like to trade it for something with less projects. Anyone interested can email or PM me, I'll have an ad up in the classified section later with pics. Thanks, Matt Jessup

No, no don't listen to Matt, he's delirious! Everyone knows a 944 isn't a real Porsche! Don't go over to the dark side. The people here are mean and cruel!

Didn't you know that's worth an easy 20HP? Blame some PO, I never cared for it either.

Hey onewhippedpuppy.

Congrats on the new addition to your family.

Welcome to the dark side of the Porsche...

Pay no attention to Kurt, we allow him to stick around for comic relief.

For the stated value you have on your car, a 86 - 88 951 in good shape is realistic, a really nice 944S would also fall in this range. The 944S2 is still priced in the 8K - 12K range.

Trade the whale-tail for a duck-tail, lose the rear PORSCHE lightbar, fix the rust/repaint and you'll have a great early 911. The interior looks nice.

I really like the Sephia Brown. SB, Signal Orange and Polo(?) Green really work on old 911s.

Thanks AFJuvat, that's pretty much what the car ads I've been seeing have been reflecting. Sorry guys, it's Aubergine, kind of a burgandy, I just have a crappy digital camera.

Aubergine is German for eggplant.

Bastard! Admit it, I'm the one that brings some sanity to this insane asylum. I can't believe no one has advised him to get a 944NA and then try to put the turbo in it.

Touche.. and next- "Wait for a 951"

Pretty car- I admit I always loved the ducktail better. My brother's 72 guards targa had one- slick lines. Aubergine is a tough color to photograph- turns out brown or dark purple.

Ok, I admit it, Kurt makes us all realize how insane he actually is..... he thinks a 911 is a real Porsche

No, you put one of those swirly things in your intake to boost flow... and a magnet on your fuel line....

How about an E-Ram? Has that nut tried to sell you guys yet, or did he just bug the 911 people?
