Question quick question about the reverse lights?

Hi everyone i'm new to this BBS. Just had a question about the reverse lights on my 944. (I need to pass inspection soon.)

I replaced all the light bulbs on the back of my car, but the white reverse lights dont work. I even hooked up a voltage meter to the electrodes in the plastic light bulb housing, but no voltage.

So I'm wondering if there is some sort of limit switch that might need adjusting, and where can I find it? any info would be big help

Did they work before you replaced the bulbs? It might be that your switch is faulty

actually I'm not sure if they worked before I replaced the bulbs, I never checked. I think they used to work. haha

and I even tried a second new set of bulbs. so I definately think the problem lies with some switch somewhere

I would trace the reverse switch citcut. i believe it is a grounding switch attached to the trans casing. try checking for voltage at thew switch or grounding the terminal to see if they come on. i would assume at this point you would have checked the fuse also.
