Dash fan suddenly inop.
Everything worked fine on Saturday--then yesterday no fan on any speed setting, A/C button engages the compressor, but no fan, same with Defrost. Fuses are good--where should I begin to look?

I have a slight problem with my fan, with the fan speed on 0, it still run the same speed as it does on 1. Everything else works fine, just the A/C fan is on all the time. The engine does not idle up or the cooling fans do not come unless its on 1-4. Could this be the switch, relay or other?

Eric: I've got some extra relays laying around in the garage. If you have a part number, I might be able to find a good used one for you.

Call partsheaven.com and tell them what happened. They might have a relay a bit......uh.......cheaper. I've had nothing but great experience with them over the years as I'm usually strapped for cash.

does this relay have anything to do with fan speeds? My 86 usually works on high only, yet sometimes, it'll run on the lower speeds! More of a pain in the butt then a MAJOR problem.

G1 is the $30 relay
The $122 relay is the one that controls the cooling fans - that big double relay AFJuvat
