Heater fan swappable with A/C fan?

will it work swapping the two?

i need some heat and im deleting the A/C system anyways so the A/C motor fan wont be used and just wondering if they can be swaped.

i looked for a new heater blower motor and the P dealership wants more than what i think the part is worth and NAPA keeps giving me ones for 85.5 and newer even if i asked for a oldest 924 model they got on record, so they got a screw loose in their catolog.

so anyway will they work or do i have to cough up some cash?

and if they will swap then how hard is it to remove the A/C blower motor?

my heater blower motor fried on me 3 weeks after purchasing the 44 back in January 17 2001, and it was still snowing then and blustering COLD, and i havnt been able to drive in non snowing months which have cool mornings and unable to defrost the windshield unless i do over 30 mph so im looking for alternatives to drive my 44 longer than 2 full months out of the year and have a defroster and heat while its still nice and no snow.

Yeah so i want my heat back before it gets colder.
