where does the rear speaker wire run through

on an 87 924s where do the rear speaker wires run through the car?Is it under the trim of the door?

yup, runs up on the inside of the car threw a rubber gromit to the inside of the rear quarter panel

it runs under that little black plastic piece that is the door seal then meets up with more wires above the kick panel.

is it only on one side or both sides?I saw two sets of cables,one with black tape around it and the other one with tan are those both for the speaker

what do you mean by both sides? and if i remember correctly the speaker wire had the take around it.
