Proboost performance chip

Have any you guys ever heard of a Proboost performance chip? are they any good?

First of all, check out FRWilks chips if you want one for an early 944.
As far as I know, no one else makes one for an early 944. The chip is soldered to the ECU, so you have to replace a ship with an EPROM chip. It's not as easy as flashing a chip that's in the computer already.

There is another route - the 944 early DME and AFM can be swapped for a later one. From there it's a simple plug-n-play chip to buy.

As long as the AFM and DME are from the same year, it should work.
