Replacing windshield wiper assembly
I'm having a heck of a time extracting my old (non-working) windshield wiper assembly (motor and all the moving arms associated with) from my early n/a. I've removed everything that's obviously in the way but the nubs that protrude through the metal piece immediately below the windshield seem to be stuck on something and I can't really see behind there. Am I missing something? Do I need to somehow remove the metal piece also? I don't want to force anything and end up busting a windshield and this seems a ridiculous amount of work to fix one simple (relatively) item. . . Thanks.

You know......... I had to pry that bugger out of there.. NIce easy prying. The assembly is pretty sturdy......
Every instruction I have read makes it sound so simple... ![]()
