remove early clock?

Resorting to vise grips, I pulled the holder out. The holder is somewhat mangled where it was held in the hole. Now, the bulb doesn't want to come out of the holder. The bulb doesn't move, to turn or push in. Should it push in and turn? Is this a bulb integral with the holder? The wire terminals don't look like they would slide off.




Update: After more attempts and a better grip, the bulb did come out of the holder.
