Alignment questions

After doing some cleaning up, I came across the result sheet from a previous alignment (late 2004), and remembered that some of my results were out of spec.

Basically, the left rear camber is supposed to be -1.31 min. and .69 max, and mine measured at -1.48. On the other side, it was -2.48. Toe on the right rear is supposed to be -.05, and mine measured .26. The left side's toe was in-spec.

On the front, Caster is supposed to be min. 2.25 and max 3.00, and mine measured 1.87 left and 1.36 right.

The printout claims that any of these results could be caused by tire wear or by bent or worn suspension parts. If it was bent or worn suspension parts, does anyone know what I should be looking at?

dealing with numbers like the way you are, you'll probably need to wait for someone that has access to the equipment (read: someone like juvi)

Caster - bushings, basically. Camber - upper strut mount. Toe - tie rods/tie rod ends. I'd also make sure to adjust front wheel bearings before an alignment because they affect how the wheel will sit. This is principally front end. I was told once not to bother with rear bushings because they're a PITA to R&R and the results are minimal.

Many folks won't touch the rear settings because they're scared of the car. Ask your favorite P-car shop who they use foir alignments.

Interesting, because since then I've:

Replaced most of the bushings and both sets of tie rods and ends. I bet this fixed most of the "problems."
