One of our guys had these done a year or so ago and never installed them, they are collecting dust. Really nice work, repaired the odometer gear while they were in there, seems a shame they are sitting around, along with a completely custom set of body decals to match.

I like those Daniel. That's exactly what I want in my car. The fact that they have their own lighting system appeals to me since my dash light is so dim.

ya the indiglow actually brightens everything up nicely and it has a dimming switch so if they are to bright u can turn them down.

there was a thread goin around previously about some indiglow gauges for the early 44's and they had a bunch of orders down so im not sure if they began tooling or not...try a search and see what pops up...the site had previews of what it would look like too so it was pretty cool

When I pull my dash, I'll probably be making my own gauges as well.

I am thinking of making my own as well but it may be too much of a hassle.

there is a place that sells the reverse glow gagues for the early cars..
but they're like $100 bucks or more for the set... not like the $30-$40 ones on ebay..

Heck,

You could probably take this picture and blow it up or create your own as a guideline to creating your own in photoshop. Stick a hot girl in the background and you're done!

Yeah, but it's virtually free. Just use the stock light.

not sure about late cars, but the light from the early cars actually come through the gagues. i dont think those lights would penetrate paper well enough to light them up...

Weird, mine is just a light in front of the gauges that shines on the gauge faces. Kind of like those cheap watches that you get as a kid. Nothing lights up behind them. The numbers don't light up or anything else.

you have a late car..
dont know if that's how they're supposed to work.. but that could be the reason they're different.
