Not too far from me. If I didn't already have a couple spare 944s, I'd look into it. | ||

I've got some nice nebraska back road sections I'll have to see what I can get mine to. I know on the interstate on a clear day a few weeks ago, I had it to 120 and had plenty of go juice left in it... as it should. It's strange how these n/a cars are geared. 1st gear isn't too bad, kind of weaksauce through 2&3, but up top in 4th into 5th, she really opens back up.

FYI, I'm sure nobody is looking to get this as a ITS SCCA race car, but his claim that its ready for SCCA is a long one. No cage is installed, and the roll bar may or may not meet specs, etc. My understanding that a legal SCCA IT motor is capable of 185 on a good day, but thats a pretty detailed build with a good head. So, maybe this can...maybe not. Speedos can be mighty optimistic when smaller diameter track tires are fitted...

Yeah, there is more BS in that add than in a stockyard. The "estimated" hp is probably taken from Jon Milledge's published figures of 185 bhp for an IT build engine. That takes a LOT more than a milled head, although the engines are surprisingly stock. You just need to know the tricks. JM does and I know a little bit about how he gets them there, but certainly not all. And as Jake said, that car is FAR from IT legal, let alone race ready.
