Wiper/washer relay bypass
I have heard the inrermittent wiper relay can be removed and "jumpers" used to get power for washer motor etc to function. Has anyone done this and have pics or diagram of the location in the relay block for these jumpers. Seems this relay is a common fault on 944's.
They're very hard to get here in Oz, and very expensive if one can be found. Hope there's a way around it. Thanks

The intermintent part is built into the total relay. I had it figured out once. I'll see if I can find my notes or figure it out again. Think I was going to bend the contact finger in the steering column switch. A mod to the relay or removing a wire or two would be a better solution.

Thanks, that'd be great, I've had the relay out for a year now since it failed, but no washers with it out. I'm not fussed about the intermittent, but it would be nice if I could get the wipers to "zero" when I turn them off.
