weird sounds?

Hey guys,

i noticed a weird sound, almost like a buzzing sound in the rear of my car. I thought it was teh shocks, but i just changed them out and its still making the sound. its almost like a constant whine, it can go from 3 seconds to about 7 seconds. It happens at random times, i could be goin 40 mph, or at a stop light. any ideas???

Well, if it is the fuel pump, eventually you will have fuel-delivery problems (sputtering, hesitation, etc...)... I personally wouldn't go and change the fuel pump unless the car's performance was being hindered.
