Well, that's what I thought .......but there must be something wrong with my steering rack.......cuz I was turning left, but the car was rotating right....note the "busy" yellow gloves?

I'm running a full 944 spec suspension:
30mm torsions
400 lb front springs
Welt's 28mm fr/22mm rr.
Adjustable Koni's all around.

Timmay. Is that in the Qualcomm statium parking lot? I would love to try my hand at autocrossing there but my 944 is not even close to autocross ready and my 914 isn't done yet. What are there requirements for your car to be able to run?

PCA Autocross course. I ran on standard all-steason Michelin "Weatherwise" tires. They suck arse, but it was fun.

Second gear flat out. In the straights speeds can get around 50mph or so, but it's hard to look down and see for sure....

Man, I guess we're spoiled here! Our PCA AX courses are 1:30-1:45 long and usually have some 4th gear straights! That's at the Qualcomm stadium parking lot.

That sound like fun Timmay. I can't wait until my 914 is done, it will be ready for the track at Qualcomm. My 944 has stock suspension and is wore out and needs help before it will see the track. Maybe another year before the 914 is done and then I will see you out there.

How many 944s and 914 would you say normally show up?

Damn man, I guess you guys are spoiled!
We share this track with Skills days on most occasions, but when there's no skill day running, the AutoX course could be a lot longer...but they don't do it. Maybe not enough cones.

Or maybe it's because most Amercian drivers can't pay attention that long.

Yeah, but cones are cheap. Buy some more if you guys have to. Entry fees will cover the cost very quickly.

If you want, call me regarding fixing up your 944. I have lots of parts because we make 944 spec race cars out of the street cars. You need suspension?

Timmay, Yeah I need suspension but I am puting all my money into my 914 until it is done. My 944 is my daily driver for now.

Ok, 85.5 means you have the aluminum suspension. I have front control arms needing rebuilds that will allow you to keep driving the car while they're being rebuilt. I have rear arms loose, too.
In fact, I have a whole 87 rear end with brand new bearings, good rotors, calipers, stock torsions, etc, ready to bolt up in! Forgot about that one for a second.........Man, I have too much 944 stuff......

Just let me know what you need and when you need it and I'll make it cheap for you.
