There are way to many variables as to why it wont start for anyone to really help you. You just need to start troubleshooting everything. Two things you need are spark and fuel, so do all the checks to make sure you have those. Then start checking all your sensors, MAF sensor and so on. www.clarks-garage.com would be a good web site to help you with all the different checks you will need to do. Hope this helps.

Make sure you are getting power to the coil. Then check the coil wire to the distributor then check the cap and rotor. Let use know what you find.

If you dont have spark out of the coil and you have the correct power going to the coil then it is your coil that is bad. That is assuming you coil wire is good.

Let me see if Im understanding you. You put in a new coil and it runs now but it continues to die after starting it. Or is that what was happening before the new coil? Im a little confused on your last two post.

Clark's Garage site.
Read it all.

Look at the diagnostic procedures.

Follow them completely, step, by step. Miss one, (no tools, or whatever), well............good luck.
