cranksaft install question
According to the manual:
M 12X1.5 30(22) 1st Stage 60 torque angle 2nd Stage M10 20(15) 1st Stage 50(37) 2nd Stage M8 20(15) M6 10(7.5) Now, the question is; A. Do I perform the 1st Stage and 2nd stage with the M12 and then perform the 1st and 2nd stage with the M10? OR B. Do I perform all of the 1st Stage with M12 and M10 and then go do the 2nd Stage with the M12 and M10? OR C. It doesn't matter. If I use B then I can't get a good "bite" on one of the M12 nuts for the 2nd stage.

I first tightened the larger bolts to first stage, then smaller bolts to the first stage, etc...

State 1 is stage 1. All bolts/nuts to first value then all bolts/nuts to second value.
Which M12 nut is givng you trouble?... Is it the one that is covered by the oil pickup/return tube assembly?.... If so, tighten it to the torque value first then just use a wrench to get the 60* after that. If it's a different one then I don't remember it.

Yeah, that's the one. Also the M10 under the pickup. I imagine I'll have to guess the torque with a box wrench on that one.
