Caster adjustment causing control arm bushing problem

This really isnt a major concern but more of a annoyance. This happened ever since i installed my newly rebuilt control arms with Rennbay's geometry correcting pins. 968 caster blocks, new OE front bushings also. I was getting a bit of 'creaking' from the front bushing only on the drivers side. I sprayed the hell out of it with SuperLube (a synthetic silicon lube safe on rubber) and it seemed to have gone away for a few months. Its back again though, sprayed it again with the same lube and while creaking has stopped..under heavy braking i can feel a slight 'tick' in the steering wheel as the weight shifts forward and the control arm bushing 'creaks' its way into whatever the correct position is.

Before i had the wheel alignment done i was having this problem and found it stopped happening depending on how much the caster adjustment was moved.

It seems the caster adjustment is considerably more 'offset' on the drivers side than on the passenger side. The car was aligned a few thousand miles ago, tracks straight, dosent pull left or right, no vibrations.....etc. So the alignment is good as far as i know. And if it matters it was done by a Porsche shop.

Here are the pictures of the caster block.

This is the drivers side...

And here is the passenger side

According to my wheel alignment sheet, my front caster is 2 degrees 30 minutes on each side. The minimum value printed on the sheet is 2 degrees 15 minutes and max is listed as 2 degreed 45 minutes.

Any ideas at all?

It sounds like the bushings in the caster block are giving out.

They look a bit chewed up to me?? maybe its the pic.

Caster blocks have less than 6k miles on them and are actually supposed to look like that.
